FORMAT FOR SHORT PAPERS and ABSTRACTS


Send by 30 April 2019 (date changed)  to isos13@ipgg.sbras.ru as an attachment to the e-mail message or via Symposium’s web page, and should include:

Data for contact author: Name, e-mail.

Specifications for submission of  short papers (including abstracts):
1. Text shall be written in English.
2. Use the format below, following all specifications regarding page size (A-4), margins (2 cm
on all 4 sides), font (Times New Roman 12, one-and–a half spacing and justified on the left).
3. At least one of the authors must be formally registered as a participant in the meeting.
4. Indicate initials and last names of authors. For example: J. Smith, P.J. Rogers, etc.
5. Short papers can only have a maximum of 4 pages of text and captions, plus 3 figures (only
one of them may be a full size photographic plate).
6. Title must be centered and in capital letters, followed by authors, keywords and the body of the
text (including References).
7. Figures have to be in black&white or gray scale, and shall be submitted as JPG or TIFF files at 300 dpi. Maximum size is 135mm by 187mm. Please, indicate where they should be located within the text.
8. Figures should be included in the text as follows: Fig. 1, 2...; Pl. 1, fig. 1, 2...)
9. Maximum size of the sent messages as attachments must not exceed 15 Mb. Submission of Word DOC text and illustrations, when exceeding this size shall be sent as separate messages, indicating its parts (e.g. Part 1/2, Part 2/2...).
